08/24/23 Lilith, Iris, and Sitka were surrendered to the shelter due to their prior owner not having the finances to care for them. These three came in together, but we do not require that they go to a home together. They were said to do well with other dogs but have no prior history with cats, pocket pets, or livestock. Please ensure you are doing appropriate introductions with all new critters. They were also described as doing well with children, strangers, and adults. However, they were said to be protective of their home. If you are unfamiliar with livestock guardian breeds, we encourage you to do the research before enquiring about adoption. All three were said to be housebroken and to know a variety of commands. They would still benefit from attending a basic obedience class to continue working on their manners! Lilith, Iris, and Sitka were also known to be escape artists and should always be supervised when outdoors! If you are interested in meeting any of these sweet pups, please let us know!<br/>
