08/16/23 Sweet Nilla was surrendered to the shelter because her prior owner could not afford to care for her. They had wonderful things to say about her and hope she finds a nice home for her senior years. Nilla was said to be housebroken and to generally mind well. Nilla is currently being treated for Urintary tract infection and is already feeling so much better! Her prior owner did note that she does not like car rides. She was said to be friendly towards babies and children but does bark at strangers. She does warm up quite quickly once she has met you! Nilla was also said to do well with other dogs but has no history with cats, pocket pets, or livestock. Please ensure you are doing slow, safe, and controlled introductions with all new critters. Her prior owners also wanted to let her new owner know that she chatters her teeth when should like water. On intake we noticed that Nilla had a few lumps and bumps and courtesy of our amazing shelter fund was sent out for a work up!<br/>
